This place has the best pupusas in the neighborhood, hands down! Well.. they are second place after the ones my mom makes lol.

So far I had tried their queso con loroco and revueltas. Besides the pupusas, I have also tried their yuca frita con chicharon, which was really good.

Cafe La Praviana is really inexpensive. With two pupusas you're really full. I definitely recommend this place!

We were  on the road when I told the Mister I was hangry and to find something exciting on Yelp.

Of course I asked him how was parking, do they take cards and who reviewed this place. You know what? I got zero answers except that I am the Yelper he didn't know how to find those answers.

Parking is okay. This teeny tiny spot is in the back of a mini strip mall so the spots will be hit or miss. Don't let the looks of this place steer you away. I also secretly rolled my eyes when we arrived. Trust me this place is good. Payment is indeed accepted with cash or credit. Yelp check in gives you a free drink. Score!!

We ordered Pupusas. If you have never had these little pockets of sunshine be aware they are hand made with love and take a while to create. We are talking about 15 - 20 minutes after you order. My cheesey garlic and pollo and cheese were super yummy. The mister had a Chichiaron and cheese which also was a winner. The asada plate with beans and rice paired with super thick hand made tortillas at an excellent price filled his belly. The asada was a little over cooked so be sure to give them your preference. Fried nanners for the win.

Service was friendly. The guy who helped us had the coolest pair of goggles I've ever seen.

Just remember patience. Bring it with you or stay home.

The pupusas were so good, the curtido also.
Pupusa revuelta and pupusa with frijoles con queso are the best.
Loroco and pollo are ok, but revuelta is amazing.
They deserve 5 stars but It's true what everybody else said, the service is so slow, we waited almost 50 min and we were the only ones.

Last time we are coming here.  So we've been coming to this place since it opened and have been patient with the misses here and there when it came to their food and service.  Tonight was the last straw.  They are so slow when it comes to giving you their food.  To make things worse, tonight we ordered our food before a big party and were relieved that we wouldn't have to wait even longer.  What happens?  We watch the owner take two plates out and give it to the party of six.  Pretty sure that was order.  The rest of the party doesnt get their food for another few minutes so I'm guessing she gave them our food first.  We ordered our food at 7:53pm and it is now 8:24.  We ordered 4 revueltas pupusas.  30 minutes have passed and still nothing.  This happens all the time.  The wait is so bad and honestly these pupusas are not worth that wait.  Go get your food somewhere else.

Just complained about having to wait over 30 minutes for 4 pupusas.  Was told the bigger party was there before us.  She took our order while the bigger party was ordering.  No apology.  Done.

Delicious pupusas!! This is the go to place for pupusas. They also serve breakfast all day and the huevos con chorizo is also really good!! It's a bit of a wait for your food to be cooked, but it's worth every second!!
